A Turret Punch is used to cut and form metal by ‘punching’ it into shape. Punches are exceptionally well suited to low to medium volume production runs. These machines use a large number of standard punching tools, primarily simple shapes in different sizes, along with commonly-used notches, edges, and mounting holes, along with up to 30-ton press capacity, to get the job done. Through using different combinations of their standard tools Turret Punches can be used to create a wide variety of parts, without the need for specialised tools, making them the superior choice for creating prototypes, and small to medium production runs, without the hefty cost of custom specialised
Metal folding is a great way to add shape to your product design. At J & S Building Services we have an impressive 80-ton pressing capacity and can press over a 2.4-meter length.
